Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry

February 2, 2012

Prior to Amy Winehouse’s death last year, the singer worked with British designer Fred Perry to come up with two collections, a F/W 2011 and a S/S 2012 designed by Amy herself.

The style is very retro with a lot of 50’s flair, very Amy Winehouse.  There are high-waisted shorts, tied up shirts to show the midriff area and some argyle prints.  Here are some of the items selling below.

The collection consists of 14 pieces made up of tops, bottoms, dresses, jackets and a few accessories like handbags and belts.  Personally, it is not my style but I thought Amy Winehouse was an amazing artist and I’m happy to see that her family and Fred Perry decided to release this collection.  Fees and Royalties made from this collection will go to a charitable cause, the Amy Winehouse Foundation, to help at risk youth.
